The European Parliament has confirmed the political compromise on the Euro 7 emissions standard. Euro 7 largely adopts the test conditions of Euro 6 for cars and vans, while the limit values for heavy commercial vehicles and buses will be significantly tightened.

By the end of 2026, the Commission will assess whether cattle farmers should also be subject to the Industrial Emissions Directive.
