US-China: Trade talks continue.

Representatives from China and the United States are holding talks in London on Monday. The two-day talks aim to build on the provisional agreement reached during the negotiations in Geneva.

Sustainability omnibus: EP negotiator wants to scrap climate plans.

The rapporteur for the proposed easing of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) wants to exempt more companies from CSRD requirements than the European Commission does. However, Jörgen Warborn does not intend to scrap the EU supply chain law entirely.
