Blinken in China: They talk. For five and a half hours

Antony Blinken is in China. It is the first visit by a US Secretary of State in five years. The talks are frosty - but the fact that they happen at all is a success. Relations between China and the USA are strained; the most important thing is to prevent an escalation. The question now is whether Blinken will also meet Xi.

Stumbling blocks for the consultations
