Kapitalismus vs. Sozialismus ist heutzutage zu kurz gedacht. China hat mittlerweile seine Fähigkeit bewiesen, politische Ziele auch in konkrete Projekte und Programme zu übersetzen - mit sichtbaren Vorteilen für die gesamte Bevölkerung, nicht nur für die Eliten. Für die USA könnte es schwer werden, sich daran zu messen, solange sie an ihrer Identität als System der freien Marktwirtschaft festhält.
