COP29: Why the G20 is not the solution

The declaration of the G20 summit in Rio does not solve the problems of COP29. Instead, it leaves the decision on compromises to the states at the climate conference. Although the G20 states are opening doors, they also put obstacles in the way of the delegations. The G20 could soon split on this issue.
