Green methane: Study casts doubt over Germany's plans

The German government promises that the LNG terminal in Wilhelmshaven will be used to import carbon-neutral synthetic natural gas. But a new study commissioned by the think tank Agora Energie and available to Table.Media shows that many unresolved problems remain: The technology is untested, its profitability is questionable, and it could delay the conversion of gas pipelines to hydrogen.

'We want to make an offer at eye level'
