Green claims: EU Parliament votes for improved verification of environmental claims

According to the EU Parliament, the use of "environmentally friendly" and other advertising slogans should only be allowed if companies can prove it. The Parliament adopted a corresponding position on Tuesday. Severe penalties are also envisaged.
