Bern Convention: Council majority in favor of lowering the protection status of wolves

Due to the opposition of Green Minister Steffi Lemke, there was no majority in the Council of Ministers for a long time to restrict the protected status of the wolf. Now she is giving up her resistance. This allows the Commission to pursue an amendment to the Bern Convention.
