Top jobs: Why all eyes are now on the Council

Parliament President Metsola is to remind the heads of state and government of the Top Candidate Principle. This was decided by the parliamentary group leaders at their first meeting after the election. Negotiations on the formation of an informal coalition cannot begin until Tuesday at the earliest.
