Fiscal plans: Advocates of tougher debt rules admonished

In the autumn package of the European Semester, the Commission approves most of the member states' multi-annual fiscal plans, with the exception of the Netherlands. There is also criticism of Austria's deficit and the German draft budget for 2025.
