Fines for climate sinners: The road to relief for car companies is so rocky

By 2025, manufacturers could have to pay €15 billion in fines to the EU for failing to meet the climate targets for new vehicles. The industry and more and more politicians are therefore calling for the EU legislation to be reviewed in 2025 rather than 2026.
