Election of the Presidium in Parliament sends a positive signal for von der Leyen vote

The candidates from the EPP, S D, Renew and Greens have received a lot of support from the other pro-European political groups in the elections for the Presidency of the European Parliament. This is seen as a signal that Ursula von der Leyen will receive the required 361 votes in plenary on Thursday to be re-elected Commission President.
