EIB: Vestager and Calviño compete to succeed Hoyer

The search for a successor to the president of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Werner Hoyer, is entering its final phase. Five people are in the race, but only two candidates have a good chance: Margrethe Vestager from Denmark and Nadia Calviño from Spain. This would be the first time in its more than 60-year history that the EU's house bank has had a female leader.
