Agricultural emissions: directive causes conflict

Emissions must also be reduced in agriculture. But unlike in other sectors, natural processes can hardly be replaced. Nevertheless, the industry is to be made more accountable with a new version of the Industrial Emissions Directive – and the outcry follows immediately.
