German climate foreign policy should integrate humanitarian aid and adaptation

In its climate foreign policy strategy, the German government recognizes global warming as a significant security risk. However, what specifically follows from this remains unclear. Peacekeeping, emergency aid, sustainable development and adaptation to climate change could be meaningfully linked.
