Report: UK needs eleven times more heat pumps to meet climate targets

The UK government aims to install 600,000 heat pumps annually starting from 2028. However, the expansion needs to occur eleven times faster. The UK is lagging behind in Europe in this regard and has also delayed an important market mechanism by a year.
