India: At least 25,000 people suffer heatstroke amid deadly heatwaves

India experienced multiple heatwaves in March and May, resulting in at least 56 deaths and tens of thousands of heatstroke cases, according to local media reports. The extreme heat is expected to subside by Wednesday.
