Gas expansion instead of energy transition: Europe's largest electricity suppliers have no net zero plans.

The plans of several large power utilities to expand their gas supply are jeopardizing the energy transition in Europe. Instead of credible transformation plans, utilities such as RWE and Enel are setting themselves net-zero targets between 2040 and 2050 – too late to comply with the Paris Agreement.
