Ahead of G7 summit: climate policy of the wealthiest countries not enough for 2030 targets

The current measures of the G7 countries will clearly fall short of their 2030 climate targets. According to a report by the research institute Climate Analytics, they will probably only cut emissions by half of what is needed to meet the 1.5-degree target.
