UN submits climate policy to International Court of Justice

What obligations do states have to protect the climate? And what consequences do polluters face? With the support of the UN General Assembly, Vanuatu is now taking these questions to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. This could fuel the climate negotiations – or block everything.
