Why Taiwanese are no longer allowed to work for Confucius Institutes

Taiwan's citizens are no longer allowed to work for China's state-funded Confucius Institutes. Violations can result in heavy fines and even prison sentences. Taipei regards the institutes and other organizations as a risk to national security.
