Possible tariffs on Chinese EVs: EU registers imports to prevent panic buying

Since the start of the investigation into state subsidies for Chinese EVs, their import volume into the EU has increased significantly. To prevent potential panic buying, the European Commission is now also considering retroactive import tariffs.
