New Silk Road: Panama officially declares withdrawal

Panama has officially informed the Chinese government of its withdrawal from the New Silk Road infrastructure initiative. President Mulino questioned the benefits of the initiative for his country. At the same time, he criticized the US government for making false statements regarding the administration of the Panama Canal.
