Marcos Jr. denies knowledge of a 'gentlemen's agreement' with Beijing

In the territorial dispute with China, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has rejected reports of concessions made by his country. His predecessor is allegedly said to have made a "gentlemen's agreement".
