New hydropower plants at high altitudes take a heavy toll on the Tibetans

More and more new hydropower plants are being built in Tibetan settlement areas at 3,000 meters and higher. Melting glaciers and the threat of landslides are increasing the risk. And the Tibetans are paying the price.
