Biden meets Xi: Preventing things from getting worse

US President Joe Biden will meet Xi Jinping on Wednesday in San Francisco on the sidelines of the APEC summit. One goal: Military talks are to be resumed. But this is not the time for big concessions. Europe is not even sitting at the kids' table anymore.
