The Industry Committee in the EU Parliament adopted the report on the Critical Raw Materials Act on Thursday. It strengthens requirements for circularity, sustainability and labor and human rights in relation to strategic raw material projects. The plenary is set to vote on the report next week.

The EU Commission is revising the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive and presented a draft in the summer. The focus is on greater use of recyclate and the handling of uncollected end-of-life vehicles. The public consultation will run until the end of October.
