Klima-Sozialfonds: Woher das Geld nehmen?

Beim Umweltrat haben die zuständigen Minister:innen und ihre Vertreter:innen zum Jahresabschluss den Fortschritt des Fit for 55-Pakets diskutiert. Ein Knackpunkt beim politischen Meinungsaustausch: Der Klima-Sozialfonds. Einige Mitgliedstaaten befürchten eine massive soziale Schieflage, vor allem im Falle einer Ausweitung des Emissionshandels und drängen daher auf stärkere finanzielle Unterstützung aus Brüssel. Doch woher das Geld hierfür kommen soll ist noch ein offener Streitpunkt.
