Unforeseen resistance to new ethics authority

European Parliament adopts Euro 7 emissions standard

The European Parliament has confirmed the political compromise on the Euro 7 emissions standard. Euro 7 largely adopts the test conditions of Euro 6 for cars and vans, while the limit values for heavy commercial vehicles and buses will be significantly tightened.

New European Bauhaus: €400 million for research by 2027

The New European Bauhaus (NEB) is to have €400 million available for research projects by 2027. The funds come from Horizon Europe, the Commission's research budget. The Commission has agreed on this with the member states.
