Outdoor smoking bans: Resolution in the European Parliament fails

A resolution in the European Parliament calling for a ban on outdoor smoking and vaping did not receive a majority. The Christian Democrats did not support the motion. On Tuesday, the Council will vote on a recommendation to the member states with similar content.

After election in Parliament: Council appoints Commission for five years
